I would like to dedicate this post to Lina, who had a very glum day yesterday.
This is me trying to cheer you up ♥
It’s the 25th of September and autumn is here! The weather the past few days has been amazing. Not that that would stop me from complaining, I’m pretty sure I said something along the lines of „ugh, the weather is too nice, I wish it were a bit rainy or at least foggy“ to Kim.
Oops, I’m getting off track. So yeah, the weather is pretty amazing and I finally managed to meet up with Kim to go walking. We’ve been talking about going to Türlersee together forever and this past Saturday seemed like the perfect day for it! Not only did we spend the entire afternoon together, we managed to walk around eleven kilometres in total. After walking around Türlersee we saw a sign promoting a pumpkin festival at the bus stop. It was about two kilometres outside Mettmenstetten, so we got off the bus a station before my house and decided to walk to the festival as well.
The autumn aesthetics hit me hard this weekend and I am currently obsessed with all things pumpkin. I even bought a small one at the festival. Which is ridiculous, since I don’t really like cooking. But the pumpkin is tiny and adorable and I am planning on making pumpkin spice latte with it. Baby steps: Like with everything else in life, I am starting with coffee. Like I said, I’m all about the aesthetic. I honestly think this post with the pictures is probably my best one yet, just looking at the colours. Like seriously, scroll through it. Can’t you feel autumn creeping up on you? A craving for pumpkin soup? A lovely cup of tea?
As always, you are very welcome to leave a comment, a poem or even a tip on how to make the best pumpkin spiced lattes. Or anything else with pumpkin really.
